Technical skills: Lighting, Camera, Sound
Camera/Lighting
The main objective of the this task was to Complete and understand the aspect of lighting within the this photoshoot.
At the first stage of our task the thr group had received the equipment required to complete this task. Two of the people obtian the Equipment that being the 'Camera', one of the most important item to prove that we had completed the task and could fore see the result of the lighting. other Equipment that is needed for the task is the 'Lighting Panels'. The purpose of these is too create the lighting for the photo's that we wil be taking for the task. they are mediamly sized Light panels that can project a quite high level of light. For this sace this tool of really important and beneficial to the task that we have to complete. its not too small for the power of the light to be dull. And it's not too big for 'The Group' to be confusing to control and navigate. After we had recived the Equipment 'The Group' had to locate into an area where it was suitable for us too using the lighting effectivly. One of the way that we resolved this is by entering into a dark studio room. In this room it has a massive painted green screen. on the other wall was a wall paper of bricks. Considering we our not using the greenscreen chromakey for this task we will iuse the brick wallpaper wall for the majority of the photoshoot. 'The Room' that we we're going to use was also really dark. Meaning that the group can effectively use the Lighting within the camera shoots making some really nice shots and expressing the lighting effectivily. This also opens some other opputunities with lighting opening the doors to use some techniques in the photoshoots.
Also the other equipment that 'The Group' had to use was the coloured overlays. this equipment is used to created different coloured lightings for the photoshoot. We had a wide range of coliur at our disposal. We had Red, Blue, Green, Orange, purple and some others aswell. During the evnet of the photoshoot we could also combine some of hte coloured overlays to created some unique dynmamic colours for some more meaningful and differents photos, that was one of the techniques that was uses during the events of the photoshoot.
Lighting: The first event during the photoshoot 'The Group' Decided to set up all of the equipment and too use some props during the shooting of the photos, some of the props that were used was a hyperbolic coloured teapot and cup, and also the main prop the chair where the protaginist of the photos would sit on. The first step we took was to take some simple photos using the lighting. We had set up the 3x Lighting panels in 3 differents postions of the photoshoot. This is so we can get a full lighting of the front where we were taking the photographs from. For the first takes of the photos we decided to use Pink, Blue and Orange colour overlays for the lighting. This created just a simple take of compounded lighting. we also used A Techniques of moving the camera fast during the process of the shot making it blurry and warped. This combined with lighting gives a classic 3D colour photo.
